Kickmas Countdown Calendar is run by The Kickmas Countdown team. This notice explains what we collect and why. Questions or requests: support@example.com.
If you signed up to a school's calendar
The school that runs the calendar decides how your details are used (it is the data controller). We store them on the school's behalf so the calendar works.
- What: your email, your first name if you gave it, whether you ticked “news and offers”, which doors you opened and which buttons you clicked, and when.
- Why: to let you into the calendar, to send the short daily “door is open” email if the school has switched it on, and to show the school how its calendar is doing.
- Who sees it: the school. If you ticked “news and offers”, the school may also email you about its classes and offers.
- Unsubscribe: every daily email has an unsubscribe link. To have your details deleted, contact the school, or us.
- Cookies: one cookie remembers that you signed up, so you don't have to type your email every day. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
If you bought a calendar
- What: your email, a securely hashed password, your purchase record, and the content and settings of your calendar.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Email: we send account and service emails (password links, receipts) using Resend.
- Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in.
How long we keep it
Calendar sign-up data is kept while the calendar is live and for up to 12 months after it finishes, so the school can export its leads, and then deleted. Account and purchase records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how it's used, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
