Terms of sale and use
Last updated 21 October 2026
These terms cover buying and using Kickmas Countdown Calendar (“the product”), sold by The Kickmas Countdown team (“we”, “us”). By buying or using the product you agree to them. Questions: support@example.com.
What you get
- One purchase gives you one calendar: one school or brand, one web address.
- Your calendar stays live for 12 months from the date you buy it. After that, visitors see a “this calendar has finished” page, and you keep access to your leads in your dashboard.
- You choose 12 or 24 doors, a design and a start date. Doors unlock one per day at midnight in the timezone you pick.
- The daily “today's door is open” email is included and goes to up to your first 500 sign-ups per calendar.
Price and payment
The price is shown before you pay and confirmed on the payment page. Any early-bird price applies to orders our system receives before the early-bird deadline; the countdown on our pages is a guide only. It is a single payment, not a subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Refunds and your right to cancel
The product is digital content supplied straight away. When you buy, you ask us to give you access immediately and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once access starts. So purchases are non-refundable. This doesn't affect your statutory rights: if the product is faulty or not as described, contact us and we'll put it right or refund you.
Your content and your leads
- You are responsible for what you put behind your doors (text, images, links, offers) and must have the right to use it, including permission from anyone who appears in it and, for under-18s, their parent or guardian.
- You own your content and the leads your calendar collects. You can export them at any time.
- You are the data controller for your leads; we process their details on your behalf to run your calendar. See our privacy notice.
- Only email your leads in ways the law allows. Visitors who tick “news and offers” have agreed to hear from you; the others signed up for the calendar only.
Acceptable use
Don't use the product for anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or harmful, to collect data you're not entitled to, or to try to break or overload it. We may suspend a calendar that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.
Availability
We work hard to keep calendars running, especially through December, but can't promise the service will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features as long as the core product you bought keeps working.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost sign-ups.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them; the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase.
